The Absolute Basics of ActionScript
Synopsis
The main goal of this course is to teach an absolute beginner the very basics of the programming language, hopefully in a friendly manner. The secondary goal is to teach you in a manner consistent with what we call Best Practices. Those are just what they sound like: a collection of methods and philosophies that focus on doing things right over doing things the easy way. This is why we will be focusing on the why just as much as the how.
