Papervision3D
Synopsis
Papervision3D is an open-source project that allows Flash developers to create 3D scenes in real time. Because it’s open-source, it’s constantly changing; therefore, many of the tutorials that you will find will require a tweak here or there in order to work with the latest absolute bleeding-edge version.
Before taking this course, you should be fairly proficient in ActionScript 3. You should also be familiar with the concepts behind Object Oriented Programming, although even without that you should be able to create some interesting stuff.
If you find that this course is over your head, try the FIVe3D course instead for a more basic 3D engine.
